Feather trims and fringing made a huge impact on the Fashion T Stylo, with sweepingly dramatic full fringing seen at PatBo and Bronx & Banco, while the likes of Ulla Johnson and Proenza Schouler offered a more relaxed iteration of the trend. For party dresses, opt for tasseled layers on a trapeze silhouette or go all-out with a fringed flapper-inspired dress.
Denim is one of the most carried-over trends from last year, but for SS23 it’s been upgraded to high-fashion status. Designers like Diesel sheathed their garments in denim, while Y/Project embellished pieces with frayed details. And of course, Bella Hadid was all over the denim bra trend with her Givenchy buckle bra paired with silky slip dresses.
Lilac and purple tones are another color trend that’s been popular for a while, but will get even more attention this year thanks to the arrival of lilac tulle dresses at Siriano and silver beaded options from Altuzarra. For a more tonal approach, try pairing lilac with deeper hues of purple in the form of rain-ready coats from the likes of Valentino and casual hooded styles from the likes of Ulla Johnson.
