Stainless steel is durable and hardy but that doesn’t mean it won’t become dirty or stained. It is important to wash your utensils regularly to keep them looking clean and pristine. We recommend using mild detergent bars or liquid and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, metal scrubbing pads or steel wool as these can scratch and damage your utensil’s surface.
A common cause of staining in stainless steel is burnt food hygiene particles. To remove these, you can try soaking the stainless steel utensils in water with a pinch of baking soda for a short period. Another option is to use a non-metal scraper to break up the stuck-on residue. Be sure to rinse the utensil thoroughly afterward to prevent further build up.
Watermarks are also a common problem that can mar the appearance of your utensils. You can avoid this by not putting hot pans directly into cold water after washing them. Instead, let the cookware cool down a bit before removing it from the sink.
