In order to navigate Finnair cancellation policy , it is important to understand the difference between refundable and non-refundable tickets. Refundable tickets, like Flex fares, usually have a higher initial cost but provide greater flexibility with regard to modifications and cancellations. Conversely, tickets that are non-refundable may not be refunded in the case of a cancellation, making them more limited.
