People with Heart Problems:
Those who have a history of heart disease, heart attack, or stroke should be cautious when taking Malegra 100 mg. Sildenafil can affect blood pressure, and in people with heart problems, this could cause adverse effects like chest pain or even heart attack.
People Taking Nitrates:
Nitrate medications (such as nitroglycerin) are often prescribed for angina (chest pain). Sildenafil can interact with nitrates, leading to a severe drop in blood pressure, which can be life-threatening. People on nitrates should not take Malegra 100.
Severe Liver or Kidney Disease:
People with severe liver or kidney problems may not be able to safely process sildenafil, increasing the risk of side effects. A doctor may need to adjust the dose or recommend an alternative medication.
Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension):
Sildenafil can cause a further drop in blood pressure, so those with naturally low blood pressure should avoid taking it or consult a doctor before using it.
