Spirit Airlines Boarding Zones system to help passengers board the plane in an organized way. Zone 1 boards first and includes travelers with disabilities, families with small kids, and military members. Zone 2 is for passengers who paid for Shortcut Boarding, which lets them board early and grab overhead space. Zone 3 is usually for those sitting in the front rows or in the Big Front Seats with extra legroom.
Zone 4 covers most passengers with standard seats, and Zone 5 is generally the last to board—often for those who checked in late. Your zone will be clearly marked on your boarding pass. To make boarding smoother, it’s best to be at the gate early, listen to announcements, and line up only when your zone is called. If you want to board early, consider paying a bit extra for Shortcut Boarding or a front seat.
